The side pocket is perfectly sized for my 32oz water bottle, and I love that I can pack a full six-pack of sodas in the main compartment without feeling like I'm lugging a heavy cooler. The front zipper pocket is surprisingly roomy for keys and snacks too.

Took this on a 6-hour hike and my drinks were still cold by the end. The side pockets actually fit my 32oz canteen, which I didn't expect. Front zipper pocket is roomy enough for keys and a phone too.

The front zipper pocket is surprisingly roomy—I packed snacks and a jacket without it bulging weirdly. Only wish the shoulder straps had a bit more padding, but for carrying a dozen cold drinks it does the job well.
